Plane From New Jersey Makes Crash Landing In Poland

A plane carrying 230 people from New Jersey has been forced to make an emergency landing in Warsaw airport, Poland, due to problems with its landing gear.

The Boeing 767 operated by Polish aircraft company LOT, circled around the airport for an hour and dropped excess fuel. Nearby buildings were evacuated and an emergency landing strip was prepared in case the plane crashed.

Emergency services rushed towards the plane as it belly landed on the runway. Smoke billowed up from beneath the plane and a small fire broke out. No one was hurt but Warsaw airport will reportedly be closed until Wednesday.
