The winner of the Bounty Celebrity Mum of the year 2009 award is Coronation Street actress Kym Marsh, a mum who's been through a bit of a rollercoaster year.
Earlier this year, Kym and her boyfriend Jamie Lomas dealt with the devastating blow of the death of their baby boy after he was born 18 weeks early in February.
Kym already has two children from a previous partner, David and Emily. Her boyfriend Jamie, who has recently been seen playing the part of Warren in Hollyoaks, also has a child from a previous relationship.
Kym and Jamie struggled to stay together after the loss of baby Archie, but Kym confirmed at the event that they're now firmly back together.
Kym has experienced being a single mum in the past, and also a divorce from fellow soap star Jack Ryder. Throughout all these experiences, she seems to have maintained a remarkable level of dignity.
Kym accepted the award from Bounty, which is voted for by the public, at the Lowry hotel in Manchester. She was up against her previous bandmates Myleene Klass and Suzanne Shaw, who has previously worn the award. She also beat TV presenter Holly Willoughby, Samantha Cameron and Katie Price.
